I have received back my early xe block from the local engineering firm , which needed a re-bore + .5mm , and had new core plugs fitted - cost £80 all in, so I have been on the lookout for new pistons for it

I have so far been quoted £217.32 for a set of oversize pistons and £63 for the rings from Autovaux

A local company quoted me £209.15 all in for the same

before I part with my cash, has anyone had any good deals elswhere?? or know of anyone with a set of pistons for sale???

i found a numpty selling some 88mm high intruders for £200 think i got a bargain
