i recently came across the possibility of a very inexpensive deal from my friend who is doing a swap on his E30 325i with an m3 motor. So i am able to get his M20 motor for almost free. Question is will it be easy to fit in a book chassis? since its a bit longer than most 4 cyl. And will the tranny be able to fit the tunnel? And if anyone has any info such as problems using this motor and tranny please speak up!
in a locost you would have horse sand plenty of torque..
but the problem lies in the fact that that engine is very high. and very heavy!
the engine incl. box wil weight 2,5times the chasis!!
sow you could ask your self who is holding who.
anyway i have seen a luego viento with a straight six mounted in.
Should rock really!
my advice build a mcsorly +4 (engine bay space)
or sell that engine an search a m3 4pot it will rock even better
Regards,
Tks
