I need to change the water pump on my 2.0Ltr mondeo Zetec, because with the new belt set up it will run the wrong way around. I think I need an Escort water pump but I need someone to confirm this.
If I'm right does anyone know the ford part number or of a good place to get one online?

I got mine from fleabay.
I don't know the part number but if you have a silver top engine you need the pump that has the inlet straight out of the side of the pump not the one that is angled backwards.

You will also want the pulley that bolts to it.

it's an escort 1.8 16v (zetec) pump if I remember correctly and big_wasa says you'll need the ribbed pulley (2.0L mondeo one is flat) as well (from ford)

Something like a "P" reg should get you the pump you need.

I got a water pump from a 1.8 fiesta and the matching pulley. The pump was about 15 quid from Jayar parts and the pulley was 11 quid from ford.
