Anybody got any idea at what temp the water thermostat supplied as standard for a RV8 will open?

I know there's a range available, I have a feeling std. was 88, I had problems with this which were fixed by going to 82

Yeh its 88 degrees just bought one for mine

There is a choice depending on which car your engine came from - i beleive you can either have an 88 or an 82, standard Rover SD1 thermostat starts to open at 82 deg.

The thermostat in a P6 should be 82 as standard not sure about SDI
