Hi all,

I expect most people use the original temp sensor position, but as its feeding my ECU and I want to put another one in for a guage - does anyone know if there is a threaded but blanked off hole in the block into a waterway that would be good for putting a sensor into?

Otherwise I'll just put one in a hose!

Yep, the red top comes with two coolant temperature sensors as standard, one for ECU one for gauge.

yup as already said, one is 1/8npt for your gauge and the larger one is for a bosch sender. i've got a piccie somewhere...

i plugged the bosch sender hole as it fouled the chassis rail and fitted it in the manifold on the inlet side where the water bleed outlet bit could go (not drilled by default on my bodies)

fitted my sensor here instead:

i did know as i had to buy a plug to fit it! m10 or m12 rings a bell. i think i tried the removed sensor on some nuts and took it from there. bought the plug from steves stainless at Detling ealier this year.
