*correction* anyone using yam R6 throttle bodies?

DOh, silly me, not knowing what I bought

Should have said: Is anyone using yamaha R6 throttle bodies? what size car engine would they be good for, (approx capacity and bhp)?

Not measured diameter, but yep, they are two twin castings - that in theory can be moved apart - and have what appears to be a secondary choke that is motorised

oh, anyone got the PPC comic mentioned below or can scan the article and send?

PPC did an article about bike throttle bodies a few months back. If you know anyone who buys that comic ask them for a borrow.

ppc said that 600cc bike throttle bodies are good for up to 200BHP

PPC also says -
inside diameter 38mm
spacing 75-75-75
seperate casting - no (twin )

I've just bought some suzuki GSXR 600 carbs -pre 1999 ,from E-bay for my redtop only £26!!
inside diameter 38mm
spacing 80-80-80
seperate casting - yes.
Yamaha R1's are favoured as are GSXR 750 & 1000.
will get a manifold sorted out later!!
