has anybody used a bestek ignition system, dist. and coil set up? there is this one on ebay at the moment

are these systems just designed for better ignition timing etc

could comeone explain this to me, advantages and disadvantages of these systems.

Pretty sure Jacko has one on his pinto.

They are just a bosch dizzy with electronic ignition built in and without a vacuum advance for if you are using twin webers or bike carbs etc.

The advance curves are altered to suit your engine and it's state of tune.

It's a sort of half way house between a purely mechanical points system and a full customisable electronic (megajolt etc) system.
