Is there such a thing? Burton Power and RetroFord etc, sell them but at £160-£200 they are pretty extortionate.

you don't need one

Look in my photo archive for my plumbing. It just survived a week in 30+ degree heat at Le Mans so I'm pretty confident there's no real issues...

I think the Raceline et al water rails were developed for cars where clearance between the bulkhead and the standard Ford (read bulky) thermostat housing was an issue. I thinl I'm right in saying that the Zetec warms up more quickly if the standard setup is used?

You do definitely do not need a water rail unless you have clearance problems at the back of the head, the standard Ford set up is better as the thermostat is in the hot water at the rear of the head. Save yourself a heap of dosh & use standard parts.

yea ive got one in the thinking i would need it, as i was told i would by a company who i wont mention (lions)- but its a waste of time and money ill only save 8inchs of straight pipe between the rad and the hose fitting !!! stick with the thermo housing at the back!!!
