LOCOST 7 weight 800 klg. any one knows what is the best tyre pressure's for road use have tried 16psi front 20psi rear. also when driving over one of our nice little road bumps, the back suspension feel to bottom out. is it the spring or damper that wants adjusting.
I would say 20lb front, and 18lb rear. (Works for me). If the shockers are bottoming out, and you have the spring plates adjusted to your chosen ride height, I would say the rear springs are too soft, or the shocks need adjusting to a firmer setting. What poundage springs have you got, at the rear. Regards Ray.
Hi Ian, I got my shocks from Gaz, and the springs had the poundage written on them. You could try phoning Gaz, and asking them what they supplied. Regards Ray
I've got GAZ shocks as well - if you rotate the springs on them, you'll find the spring rate engraved in the top of the springs, visible
when the flat portion fo the spring passes by the gap in the top of the spring saddle...
