The fuel inlet pipe on my 32/36 is loose. its so loose I can pull it out. Any advise as to how to fix it in place or is the carn goosed?

Could you tap the hole and use a threaded fitting of some kind? Maybe a Goodridge threaded hose fitting - then make up a bit of fuel pipe with the corresponding fitting to connect to it?

Alternatively some fuel/oil resistant instant gasket/sealer may work.

This used to happen a lot on Scimitars - the solution was to drill a hole in the casting and 'pin' the brass pipe in place - presumably with some fuel resistant sealer to stop it leaking.

On my Scimitar the pipe came loose when I was touring Scotland - I was very lucky to smell the leaking petrol before the pipe came right out and squirted petrol all over the top of the V6
