Just thought I would mention what could be an ideal rad. The old shape Fiat Uno, I bought a new/rfurb one from e-bay which was £23 delivered, not bad I thought, but here is the interesting bit, not quite as tall or wide as a Micra but is twice as thick, the bottom hose is easier to get on and it even came with a shiny new rad cap. Not bad I think.
do you have the ebay number so we could have a look
Item number was 200009012750

Could you measure the size for me? Wondering if it might be more efficent than the polo one?
Cheers
Dan
Er... no... it didn't work!

It's in my photo archive as Uno radiator anyway.

Looks OK but bear in mind its only meant for cooling a farty 900 cc engine.Might be good on a BEC for an oil cooled engine though.
Cheers,
Bob

True, but so is a micra and a polo rad, this holds more water and appears to have more and better cooling fins.

Always good to hear more options on here!
I'm sticking with the Polo one as we know it works and it fits a treat even under the smallest nosecone (stuart taylor one) but worth bearing the
panda one in mind in the future.
Thanks for the sizes. Let us know how you get on..
