How possible is it to fit such an engine? I've not entertained the idea of a BEC but when such an engine becomes available, you have to. How
would I go about the gearbox? Surely converting a bike into a RWD car is gonna be a serious pain in the a**?? And also I've read on here about
dry sumping this engine. Would this be necessary? if so what sort of cost is that gonna amount to?

i think you need to have a look through hell fires build web site so you can get your head around using a bike engine its not as hard as you might think
It's actually fairly easy. You need a sprocket converter to allow a prop to run from the output on the bike's gearbox to the rear diff. Otherwise it's mainly as with a car engine, ie exhaust out the side, wiring loom in with ecu....etc etc. Also, if the engine comes with clocks you can use them too.
Are you talking about the oil/air or water cooled gixer engine?
even easier if engine is at back

My 40 row mocal jobby should do the job
Thanks for all the reponses guys thats given me a lot more confidence than I had before. One last thing though, how difficult is it regarding clutch / gear shifting?
