Has any body managed to remove the clutch arm fulcrum pin from a type 9 bellhousing?? , if so -how??
tried to remove one at a scrapyard yesterday, by trying to drift it out from behind, but it snapped my punch!!
need one to put in my xe bellhousing.
any one got spare??
I know sbd do them , but looking at the photo , I dunno if it will fit.

They do just drift out with a punch inserted from the gearbox side.

I have a knackered type 9 in the the shed. Will see if the pin will come out.

Oops, I remember. Drifted it out already and it's in my good box to replace the very worn one that was in there. You could easily drill and tap the hole and put in suitable hard bolt. Don't forget the anti rattle collar which ford still stock.

The pin, washer, and anti rattle plastic bush all still available from Ford.
