can anyone tell me why my 2.0 pinto always spits out either the oil filler cap or the crankcase breather pipe, its on twin 45s, some one said that this was the problem :p

two main reasons

1 a beather pipe is blocked somewhere

2 your piston rings are shot or bores

Have a read of this

I followed this advice and have had no problems since

On the side of your cylinder block is a oil breather pick up pipe which terminates in what looks like a small square box.
In this box is a flap valve designed to stop oli being drawn into your cards. Sometimes this jams and your crankcase cannot breather anymore.

checked the breather pipe for blockages when it first did it.
I have just bought the engine completely rebuilt, so it should have new rings... hopefully.
