I am looking in scrap yards for a suitable sump to cut and shut for my Luego Velocity using a Vauxhall redtop engine.

Does anybody know which cars have the metal sump that fit the redtop engine?

The 8 Valve Vauxhall engines have the same block and very similar bottom end, only with the steel sump where there 16v has an ali one for better cooling amongst other things.

If its for RWD use people use the "big wing" Manta sump I believe.

The 2.0 8v VX engine uses the same block as the 16v, and comes with a steel sump...
