So miffed! Got everything here today and took the engine out - relatively easily. Managed to get the flywheel in the absence of a puller (surprising) and changed the front crankshaft seal without taking the sump off! Also put new cambelt on and got the timing sorted (I think/hope!).....However, when we tried to put in the rear crankshaft seal we can't get it to go in straight! We've destroyed our one here trying to do it so now I'll have to try and get one tomorow and have another go.....But how should we do it??? Haynes manual makes reference to using a large socket or the like to tap it in squarely but I can't see how it'd go in straight even with a bit of pipe??? Anyway how should I do it if I manage to get another one tomorow???? Might still be able to salvage my Sunday afternoon run yet - hopefully! Cheers Oli.

Oli, obviously you didn't read the post I left about what you would need to do this! Obviously you need a larger size of Glasgow screwdriver to fit this!

LOL! Well I've got myself a bit of pipe to fit it today from the local smiddy so should be a straight forward foolow instructions procedure I'll let you know how it goes! Oli.
