Hi all,
I've just fitted my brake lines, and am moving onto the fuel line now. What size pipe do you all use? can i use the same as the brake lines?
I'm running twin 40's on a xflow
many thanks in advance
I used 8mm bore which seems about right
excellant, many thanks
8mm microbore central heating copper pipe B&Q cheap for loads but carefull when you bend it, may be worth getting one of those small hand pipe benders for the tight turns. I destroyed half the pipe by bending it to far.
Allens Motor Services in Arthur Street sell 8mm copper pipe by the foot. It's not expensive. If you need any plastic P clips to fit it I've
got some you can have.

NO!!. brake pipe I.D. is tiny. try tifosi, sells a really nice very lightweight fuel pipe (about 9mm ID) seems to be some kinda alloy and its got a very thin plastic protective coating over the pipe. Bought ages ago but seem to remember it wasnt that dear. Maybe not as cheap as B&Q copper though

well kind of anyway... there was some concern from professional fuel systems/fuel additive designers that over a long period of
time (i.e. production car milages) it would cause injectors to gum up. Most here have used it with no reported problems.
