Hi All,

I bought a half build chassis last year complete with a 1300 gt engine from a guy who was building to go racing in the Locost series. I am now thinking of going BEC and may sell off the 1300 gt engine with 4 speed and 5 speed boxes, spare head, 2 exhaust manifolds wiring loom and many other extras - my question is, is anyone interested and what should I expect to get? especially as it's the GT engine? Thanks

I may be interested in one of the manifolds, depending on what it is, and where you are?

Hi Nib,

They are only the standard 4 branch manifolds.

I would be interested in the loom, if it's available.

Hi ddg,

At this stage I am looking at clearing the lot in one go. If I don't get any offers then I will look at selling separtely.

Thanks

zxr

There'll be plenty of Locost racers willing to take those bits off your hands, particularly the 4spd gearbox (if it's the GT-spec one to match the engine) as that's a big issue at the moment, following the news that they'll be changing our gearbox rules after next year.

I'd recommend you re-post this in one of the two racing sections on here.

Also, depending on whereabouts you're based and how much cash you want, i'd be quite interested myself!

Hi Guys,

Thanks for replies.

I'll relist in the racing forum, as for the head, I'm not sure if it's standard or not and I live in Huntingdon Cambs.
