This was after pilot holes drilled in bonnet -
This was after I'd hacked off the scoop -
This is with the new injection manifold -
Front view
Side view
And with intercoolers very roughly positioned. They will actually sit slightly proud of bonnet, and at an angle, with small scoops, ducted to
side of bonnet (and sealed - so air is forced in and drawn out)
Comments, as usual, much appreciated

I just open the bonnet on mine !
You'll certainly keep the engine cooled now!
i don't see any bonnet anymore

And to think that I was worrying about fixing a little crazing on my bonnets gelcoat ...
Cheers

i dont have a intercooler on my turbo as i was told it increases lag as the turbo has to pressurise more volume
It may increase lag, but not so you'd ever notice it. Also the gains from having the cooler will outway any drawbacks from the much lowered charge temps. They can be lowered by anything up to 40 ish ºC if done right. Might struggle to lower them further in a 7 though.
And we all know what lower intake temps mean!!
More boost
As for increasing volume of pipework required, the route is pretty direct from turbos to plenum, so increase about 1/4 litre?!! The S4 the turbos came
from, had the turbos mounted at the lower rear of engine. The i/c's were in the furthest front corners - by indicators - about 3 yards each!
