x-flow? thought you had the v6, or does that use the same dowels?

Hi, dead right, but have just fitted a new fast road cam, and using the OE set up can't get it timed right, (4 deg's out) as its a cast in key, and key way, (not adjustable). So had the idea to grind out the key, drill the chain wheel and camshaft end and try to get the timing correct using the Xflow dowels. Don't know if that will work, but worth a try. Regards Ray.

Could your file out the keyway in the pulley and then shim the gap to get the correct timing?
