Have borrowed a crap gas analyser that measures all the gases I dont need and in the wrong way.
I am getting a reading of 4284 ppm Co.
Can someone tell me what that is in %vol.
My numpty guess is that it divides down to 4.2 %vol. but maths past me by at school.
Thanks
Steve.
4284/1,000,000*100=0.4284%
i think.
0.004284% I think. Assuming PPM is parts per million?
Forgot times 100

Thanks guys.
Steve.
Joel is correct the fractional conten is 0.004284 but that is 0.4284%
Which is a bit feckin lean. At that CO level, I bet the HCs are well up and may well fail on HC emissions.
Had the same with the Tivver, CO 0.5%, HCs 1170ppm. Limit for my car is 1200!
