I'm making my own dipstick, does anyone knows how far the maximum oil level mark is from the underside of the engine block on a Zetec 2.OL black top?

Put in the correct volumn of oil, then dip and mark the stick !

If the sump is modified then the 'correct' amount of oil might not be correct

Why not measure the standard dipstick?

On my spare blacktop, 89mm below the lower block face.
