Does anyone know where I can get a new radiator for a Lotus S2 in the USA that is inexpensive? I would prefer one that is aluminum. Is there a radiator off of a production car that will work?

I used a mk 2 VW Polo on my locost, fits snug in the nose, if you need me to measure it just let me know.

If you are after originality you should be able to get your existing radiator re-cored, the header tanks are usually brass and very robust, even if they are pinholed it is easy to solder them up.

I am not after originality. I've already installed a 2.0L zetec that I did some head work and cams on (boy....did this add some get up and go over the BMC 1275 engine). I just want to have a car that I can enjoy

Most production Lotus models in the 1960s to mid late 1970s used Triumph Herald/Spitfire/Gt6 rads sometimes slighly modified --- if any mods required easy enough job for your local rad repair shop.

Might try a Suzuki Swift (ie Geo Metro, Chevy Metro, Pontiac Firefly) one. Small, light and seem to cool most four cylinders.

Also 90s Honda Civic rads are well used in Locosts and quite cheap on eBay.
