theconrodkid - 23/12/06 at 07:50 AM

is there anywhere where i can get samco type rad hoses without paying samco type prices?

Silicone hoses.com are slightly cheaper and is a really nice guy to deal with....There was another cheap supplier on the tiger forum I'll see if I can track it down for you....Oli.

Just had a look and its (wait for it) Highbury Hoses! They don't seem to have a website though.....

I used highbury hose - helpful chap will do odd lengths on either side of bends if you need them and also good prices.

Try Viper Performance too

I've just bought 4 Samco bends from Raldes and will make up the rest of the system with stainless and a couple of inches of straight silicon I blagged off Ned! At £50 all-in it was a bit excessive for the 4 bends but I've done it partly as I know I'll be putting a better engine in at some point and am future proofing as I can use the hoses in that.

My original system didn't cost much less than that anyway and that was a crappy collection of flexi hoses from Halfords plus some bits from a Sierra and a Capri!

Cheers,
James
