home made catch tank (only cost £1.25)

Morning all,

I've made my own catch tank in the spirit of locost and I reckon it's only cost me £1.25. so I'm well chuffed.

any comments welcome. (I know it needs painting!)

How did you make it? All from sheet or did you find something useful that looked like it would fit for the top and bottom?

Thinking about using an old fire extinguisher to make a fuel swirl pot , about 1lt -1.5lt should do the job

Nope I noticed that the disposable gas bottles from welders looked about right so cut a section out the middle re welded and added the pipes

Just buy an aluminium drinks bottle from a camping shop, you can get them for about £2

99p in my case , added a breather filter for another £2 (eBay) and job done - it even matches my car colour
