Facet Ful pump silver top.

Does it need to be mounted vetrically as the limited instructions indicate or can I mount it at an angle ( 25 deg from vertical )

I think it's the relative position of the in/out lets that matter, rather than the pump per se. Do the destructions say anything about it at all?

Ive got a red top and its mounted nearly horizontal, I think it is good practice to have the outlet above the inlet to prevent vapour locks but havent had any problems myself. I didnt mount mine on any rubber mounts and it is very noisy so worth considering rubber mounting it.I can still hear it when the engine is running and im wearing a crash helmet.

I got the silver top, it says ideally mounted vertically. But cannot make head nor tails of it myself. Gonna have a go mounting it this week myself. Would be interested to see pics of others in situ

Lots go into landrovers horizontal without issues.

Just the muck collects one one side in the filter.
