ive got a zetec 1.8 on webbers.it is using water only when running (under pressure?) can not find any leeks and oil clean (not milky) any
ideas.....

hate to say this but have u checked the exhaust? can u feel any steam in it? if so then ur head gasket is prob leaking water into the cylinders, but
if its not getting into the oil then it can't of fully gone
thats what springs to mind at least!
Could be head gasket if no leaks are visible, get a pressure test done to check.
Cheers
Alex
how do i find out if steam in exhaust .? it is a fury with enclosed exhaut
Can u see steam/water coming out of the exhaust when running?? is the water bubbling when its running with the expansion cap off??
it isn't bubbling with the cap off, and i will have to check exhaust later when i can get in garage.
All exhausts blow steam or water drops, it's a by product of combustion especially from cold starts.
take a look at your plugs to see if its leaking into the pistons one will look different (steam washed)
Why not just get a pressure tester on it and blow the system up to pressure. It is more than likely pressure not heat which exaggerates the leak.
This way you should be able to see where the water is going.
Fingers crossed that it comes out and does not end up as an internal leak!!
