Just getting some drawings together for plates to get lasered, for the twin bike engine grasser.

Not at all used to these bikey engines, (pair of Aprilia Mille Factory R engines) and not sure what I "NEED" to mount them off (less places being better form my point of view!)

I'll be using the mounts at the rear of the gearbox casing, which I guess were something to do with the swingarm, what else do I need to use, i..e do I need to use any of the mounts on the upper parts of the engine, or in an "unstressed" application is it ok to use less mounts?

i have used the 4 mounting points on each cylinder and then the one at the bottom rear to keep it in line. if the photos in my archive dont show it clearly i will take some more this evening!

If you are solid mounting the engines then 90% of the load is taken by the gearbox mounts if you think of the top and bottom mounting holes and their relationship to the drive sprocket. The forward mountings do not need to be massive and could come from the head if there are reasonable mounting points. My GSXR is mounted from here using 6mm bolts and is rock solid. Also think about using the engines as a stiffening member in the big hole in the chassis they are sitting in (again only if you are solid mounting)
