over heating

can any one please help with a problem i have. i have weber twin 40's and fast road cam on a 1800 cvh and its killing it. i have been told that the web's are jetted for a different engine. i am down in devon so if any one has a trusted garage that does weber tweaking that would be much appreaceated

Overheating can be a sign of a lean mixture.
You should get it on a rolling road as soon as you can to get it rejetted.
If you don't, you'll run the risk of piston damage.

Second that, whip the plugs out, if they are very light in colour another sign of a lean mixture, take a look in any haynes manual, they will photos of plugs and the probable cause of the colour.
