Bike Carb Angle

What angle do this mount at with resepect to the Zetec Block


Will the run as "side draft " or "Down Draft" or at and angle in between?

Engine: 1.8 zetec
Carbs: gsxr750

Hi i have a pinto but the carb angle is the same as yours look in my photo archives under zx9r carbs

So what carbs are people putting on 1.8 zetec's ?
gsxr750, R1 ?? (i'm nearly at the time to find some )

As said earlier keep the float bowls on the horizontal. I would suspect having them much off level will result in problems with float height and fuel metering.

I believe the angle is 40 degrees for most carbs

same as in the original bike!

most sports bikes have the engine angled forwards, meaning that the carbs are designed to work at an angle as in the photo above!!
