anyone know what size these are? (1/2 in. UNC be my guess). (they are 2 different lengths)
Is there anythihng different about these bolts that say 8.8 bolts bought from a fastener place?
Not sure what size they are, but they are 'special' - they get cranked up to a fairly high torque, so they'd need to be HT. Also, only
the ends are threaded, and the bodies help with accurate location.
Have a look at Burton's website - it's worth paying the right amount for something so essential for the engine.

May as well put ARP studs on it while youre at it.
Wouldnt be much more expensive than the boggo bolts.

Can't remember off-hand what size the bolts are, but original Ford headbolts are very strong high-tensile affairs. Don't discount them. 8.8s
from a parts factor are NOT good enough. The originals are more like 12. You don't need expensive ARP bolts.
