VR Sensor Bracket
RobBrown - 5/2/07 at 06:54 PM

Anyone got any drawings or pictures of their VR Sensor bracket for a Pinto. Ideally pictures of it not fitted. I have both the thin and thick Pulley to hand so any starters for 10 would be appreciated. I have a 5.25inch trigger wheel. Particularly measurments, and where it is mounted

Also what material is best.

Thanks

Just made this at the weekend. Trigger wheel space is up for sale if anybody needs one, made it to fit an omex one then went into tight arse mode and got one off a cvh

Ignore the threaded hole above the vr hole, put it there in error, can't get the vr plug on if you do

VR sensor just needs two washers imbetween the sensor and the plate to get a 1mm gap between the sensor and wheel.

Rich

Great Job Rich

That Steel looks quite thick?

What is the total width and bredth of the bracket, so I can get an idea of dimensions?

I'll U2U about the spacer

Cheers
Rob

I had some 5mm strip kicking about so used that as I didn't want it to flex or wobble at all.

No fear of that now

I'll go and read your u2u now!

Makes sense to make it rugged... after all quite a few vibrations going on and an air-gap of 0.5-1.5mm doesn't leave much space for wobble before you get grinding action!!
