have a look at http://www.sylva.co.uk/technical/cvh.htm thing the best way may be re-drill the existing flywheel and fit the 1800cvh clutch/release bearing

You might not need to redrill the flywheel

ISTR that latter Xr3i have a bigger clutch than the XR3 and other CVH engines ---- in which case the Sierra clutch pressure plate may bolt straight on.

If not compare the clutch part numbers with those used on Zetec conversions (the CVH is closely related to the Zetec.)

hey

it's the old type of engine (1990)
i think i going to redrill it
Using a old sierra flywheel as a template

Don't forget to fit a spigot bearing!

A lot of people do forget it !

If you are going to redrill why not use a 190mm clutch as used on the 1300 & some 1600 Sierra and the Xflow -- more than up to the job and has a lot less rotational inertia.

i won't forget the spigot bearing
it's already in
