I am looking to replace the electronic ignition on my 1.8 pinto engine and revert back to the old points system. Can anybody tell me the correct dizzy that will be a direct replacement for the existing one

I don't think the 1.8 was ever supplied with non electronic ignition. You could fit an old 1.6 or 2.0ltr cortina or capri one if you're not too worried about the advance curve. It's a backward step though.
