webers throttle connection
farmer.palmer - 11/3/07 at 12:42 PM

Hello all

I recently bought an unfinshed westfield narrow bodied Sei and was trial fitting the bodywork yesterday, when i realised that the throttle connection to the webers is fouling the bonnet.

What are the alternatives? do Weber make a option to connect the throttle cable from underneath. I could of course make some altherations the bonnet (fit a bulge or something) but i am not to keen on spoiling its clean lines by doing this...

Any help would be gratefully appreciated!

thanks

james

Hi, You can get a webber linkage which attaches from the bottom of the carbs. You should be able to get one anywhere, Burtons, etc.

Cheers,

Yes, you can get linkages that mount underneath the carbs, or alternatively the cheap linkage that rally design sells (http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=3345) is top mounted but very low profile compared to the weber linkage.
