Is there a locost (as in low cost) dry sump system?
And why is it usually so expensive?

Thanks

Yup- as previously mentioned- it's the pumps that cost. Even the tanks are quite expensive (and I wouldn't fancy a 2nd hand one in case an engine had grenaded itself into the oil system)... You can DIY a Locost sump pan if you're handy with a welder etc....
No easy way of getting round it... a dry sump setup is going to cost a fair few hundred quid...
