Am i correct in saying that people get their rocker covers powdercoated?
If so: what is the process? do you do inside and out or just out? How do you clean it up first (just paintsripper or sandblast?)
Thanks again
Rupert
Yes people do have there rocker covers powder coated I just got my front suspension arms done I used paint striper then scotch sprite get there rest
off. they come out well.
The guy who did them recommended I got them sand blasted but I couldn’t be bothered to wait the extra time to get this done. Ps don’t get paint
striper in your eyes it hurts like sh*t ware goggles been there done that.

owwww
got it on my arm once and that was bad enough!!
I picked up some powdercoating the other day and they had two pallet loads of Burton rocker covers in there for coating (could have easily pilfered a couple), as said before rub it down and make sure all the old paint is off and then ask the coater to etch it first, this will remove all the old crud and give a better key for the powder. If you don’t want the inside doing just ask them to mask it off with their special tape.
if your near glasgow i can get it done for you very cheep ,u2u me for the guys phone number
he will do anything for me for free hes a good mate.
sadly i am nowhere near there. I guess i could post it? don't know how much it normally costs?
Thank you for the offer!!
