its a lovely e36 318 is coupe but its not fast enough for me! i dont know much about tuning engines, but ive been told that i should use a performance
induction kit, exhaust and cam shaft? any thoughts on this or any other advice much appreciated. if recommending any performance parts it would be
great if you could give specific brand /part names
thanks

i wouldnt waste your money mate
that engine was never designed to be performance wise
youll fit your exhaust and induction kit itll sound faster so you think it is but it wont be much
youll end up dissapointed for the money spent
Agreed, its not really possible. If you had the 325 it would be another story though
I'd say consider an engine upgrade. My E36 is the 328 sport coupe, 200bhp, and has a narrow throttle body for restricting its breathing for
germman taxation regs. Get a wider throttle body and i'm told 240bhp is possible.
by the way, have a look through the forums on www.e36coupe.co.uk for more info

Some could ask what this site is coming to when certain members make sweeping judgements on others simply because of the car they drive
