OK the fireblade carbs are up and running on the zetec, now to the throttle cable of which i have no prblem making up.
BUT
The carbs sit high on the zetec head making top entry to the carbs a very tight radius for the cable, i need some input from other blade carb users on
CEC's please.
I'm thinking it might be possible to feed the throttle cable from underneath but i'm having a bit of trouble getting my head around it, any
pics or ideas very much appreciated.
bobski, does the levers need to be pulled up to open throttles>if so hows about extending the lever the other side of the spindles so they could be
pulled down....if ya get what i mean
I will investigate these thoughts tomorow my friend
Bob i don,t know if blade carbs are the same but on zx9r carbs the cable will go from top or bottom
Cheers jacko, just had a chat with conrod and i think i might have it sorted now, well in my head anyway
can you not use a similar system as on bike cables, make a tight bend with tube and fix between outer cable and original cable sleeve anchor?
Yup, if i cant access from the underneath then the 90 deg tube option was next.
Thanks very much for the replies
