I plan to paint my engine with 2 pack Ned reconned that this would be Ok,the thing is do I spray it with primer first or just use the paint.The other thing is can anyone recommend a primer for galvanised steel I tried etch on bits Ive previously made for my Motorbike but the paint (with the primer) just chips off.

we use a chemical etch primer at work when painting alloy and chrome it comes from a company called coating systems in derbyshire i plan to use it for my side pannels
