hello, i have bought an electronic telemetrix speedo and wanted to wire it up to my MT75 gear box, is the output on the MT75 mechanical, hence i will need to buy an extra electronic sender, OR is it electronic and therefore i can just run a wire straight from the speedo to my gear box??

If the donor car had EFI or ABS then you will have a electronic output for sure. My MT75 had a standard mechanical drive on the offside and three wires directly opposite on the near side which connect to the electronic sensor, both just in front of the output shaft. 1 for +ve, 1 for -ve and one for output pulses.

yeah the car has the twim cam 2.0 not pinto and has ABS and EFI(i think) its a K reg saphire. cool so the MT75 has the facilty for both mechanical and digital speedo's ??

I suspect they fitted both as some cars were non ABS and running carbs so only needed mech speedo, also fitted to transits granada etc.
