pinto flywheel

i have a lathe at work and plan to lighten or make a new flywheel for my 2ltr pinto
has anyone any sizes for how much i can take off a standard flywheel or the thickness i can make a new one in en24t
the engine will be tuned with twin40s big inlets and a 285 cam cheers dave blissett

I was thinking about doing the same - till I read up a bit on it .
As has been mentioned prev. on here ,if you remove too much in the wrong place, its a disaster waiting to happen.
As I don't fancy spending the rest of my life in a wheel chair, i'm giving my flywheel to a specialist!

I seem to remeber my flywheel was 9 kg its now 6kg see photo archive i gave mine to a machine shop.
