
I have to find a hobby for when i move to the states in a few weeks so would anyone like to recommend a book on building performance chevy

Once you get to the states, check your local speed shops. They usually have a rack of books you can thumb through.

Borders, Barnes and Noble, and Books a million will all have shelf loads of stuff....closest decent size city will have at least one of those book
stores.....have fun browsing...

If you are looking to build the older (50s-80s) sbc check out books by David Vizard. Reconized as one of the most knowledgable sbc guys in most
circles.
What are you planning?
If you have the money to play with the newer LSx engines you should forget all about the sbc. The LSx engines make at the wheels what most guys
expect at the engine with a sbc.
