Rover 618 & 620Sli/Gli =Honda big block single cam (anti-clockwise rotation)
Rover 623 = Honda big block Twincam (anti-clockwise rotation) claimed 158ps most which weren't real
Rover 620Ti = Rover T16 Turbo (Clockwise rotation) 197 ps

The 1.8 was the F18 SOHC 16, the 2.0 none Rover turbo was the F20 9again, SOHC and 16v), and the 2.3 which did produce 160bhp, albeit quite unreliably due to problems with cracked heads, was the F23 SOHC 16v.

rover=unreliable

rover 216gti twin cam honda engine good car any of the honda/rovers were good cars
Maybe so for the H23 of which you speak, but the F23a4 (IIRC) found in the Rover 623 is not very reliable. You just try and find a decent head in a
breakers...
F23 isn't available in DOHC unless you use an H series head on the F series block.
that's either an
Honda F20a or an F20b
the F20b has also been made with theVtec system but not until 1998 model accords
the ES series accord had a ballance shaft in the engine whereas the LS versions didn't, the engine code stays the same.
the ES limosine engine is smooth as silk (driving one for about a year now brilliant)
the non v-tec a & b series are all the 129hp in europe and 178nm but germany had a slightly higher output (ECU thing) 136hp.
the most famous F20 is the S2000 engine (f20c) which got replaced with the K20a of the current civic R
The accord engines all spin the wrong direction for use with RWD but are very much bullet proof they will outlast the rest of the car when taken care
of.
the F20c engine spins in the correct direction and shares nothing with the other F20 family engines, the K20's also spin clockwise so can be
mounted on a T9
