Do they fit directly on without any trumpets?

Individual filters do not have such a good reputation, I know of a number of rolling roads that claim they are too restrictive........if possible go for a sausage filter, You can buy blank backing plates meaning you can drill them to your spec.....

Do you need trumpets with the sausage filter?
