
Looking through what potential Mondeo donors are available, I have noticed a few V6 models with suspected head gasket failures.
So, two questions,
a) are head gasket problems more common on these engines
b) is replacing the head gaskets on these any more difficult than the average ohc engine (yes, I do realise there are two to be done!) and yes, I have
read through the Haynes manual

mate he has just built a juno race car the engine is very loosely based round the jag S,type 3.0V6 which is all so a duratec engine from the ford
family it's been well modified but he may be able to help with your question he is all so called jim

I have heard of more than a few HG failures on these --- I don't how easy they are to put right.
