foes - 13/2/09 at 10:59 PM

someone please tell me i'll get it all done....

Oh yeah, missing off that list is 'wire up car'

MikeR - 13/2/09 at 11:05 PM

you'll get it done.

Now ask me if i believe that ?

(actually i probably do)

Stop posting on here and get on with it then

You have about 23 items on that list and 17 days, that's little more than 1 a day.

Star with the little jobs and get them out of the way, then do the larger ones and you'll be done in no time

bugger, i was was tryin to get the big jobs out the way then finish off the small ones....
actually most of the small jobs on there won't take that long, the big(ger) jobs will but i'm half way through those already, it's the wiring up that i think will be touch and go.

oops, oh yeh, stop posting and start spannering!

Simon - 13/2/09 at 11:48 PM

Thing is, if you start the big jobs and they take longer than expected, you'll have a major headache getting all the little jobs done.

I reckon you could probably get rid of most of that list over a weekend, which then leaves you 14 days to do the (maybe) 5 or 6 bigger jobs (during which you'll have another 2 weekends).

You need to plan, and stick to it, no getting sidetracked, as that really does knock your schedule

tks - 14/2/09 at 12:20 AM

as said but plan to order the materials and tools also if you have a small moment use it for a small task its more efficient

You don't need to paint inside the bonnet for SVA.

So that's one out of the way already

Just dont leave it to the last minute to finish it.... because theres always something you'll find you've missed !

If you're worried about the wiring, one of these may help.
