Where is the cheapest for quaife atb?
Where's the cheapest place to get a quaife ATB for my 7" sierrs diff with push in shafts?
So far Chris Astley seems the cheapest.
Also what sort of life do they have? Is it risky buying second hand?
Cheers

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

dunno about prices, bought mine secondhand from someone on here, and it had been back to quaife for a service, IIRC they have springs in them, which
had been replaced. the rest is just gears, so usual checks for play in bearings etc i guess.
Don't imagine they have a hard life in most lightweight cars.
have heard good things about tran-x too.

I think Trans X are plate diffs and hence need quite a bit of maint / careful setup and are perhaps a little harsh for road use.

If anyone digs this thread up (cheap Quaife diffs) you may be interested in this thread where I'm trying to set up a group buy:
