4age 20V: which coil/igniter ?

Hi

Does anyone know if a 16v 4age coil & igniter can be used on a 20v? Or a silvertop 20v on a blacktop 20v?

Cheers
Rich

I'm not using a Toyota coil pack. I think its a Vauxhall item supplied by RAW with all their kits. Anyway I've used it on a 16V engine, the Silvertop 20V and Blacktop 20V but its controlled via an OMEX ECU referenced to a crank timing disc. So theoretically what works on a 16V should work on the 20V as the spark requirements are similar.

Have a look on the www.club4ag.com technical section or post a question on the forum if you don't gt a definite answer on here.

The coil pack I received from RAW was of Peugeot/Citroen heritage.

Looks like a few different options?

Ok thanks guys. 'cos I'm going to be using the standard ecu (etc) i'll look on club4age. I guess Raw's OMEX unit is a bit more flexible than toyota's!
