It lives !!!!!!!
Well after many hours procrastinating, playing with the wiring loom and trying to tidy things up and ordering my gagues, which arrived this morning, I
finally took the plunge and connected the starter motor to the battery along with the fusebox supply and turn the key.
It Cranks!!! woo hoooo.
Next stage put some fuel in the tank and try and get it to fire.
I just feel Ive reached a turning point so I thought id let peeps know.
OK it may not be a major thing for the old hands out there who have built several but it is to me.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Chris that was the reason for ordering the dials and just cranking it on the starter motor.
I have read several threads on here along the lines of "crank the engine with the plug out to make sure you get pressure. I didnt have an oil
pressure gauge so Im glad one came as part of the seven set from ETB although I did have to run in a new wire from the sender to the gauge but that
was no biggie, and temporarily fitted the gauges to a temp dash.
got 30 PSI after the oil filter had filled up

OK Sunday put some fuel in and we pushed Tango out on to the drive, too many combustibles in the garage.
turned the key and nothing. Fuel pump wasnt running. Bit of tracing disovered a missing fuse and an earth not connected.
So after resolving these issues the battery was dead so put it on charge and then the snow came
Saturday braved the elements cleared the snow from in front of the garage door pushed Tango out and tried again.
Success she fired up and ran then settled down to a nice idle
